As a remote, freelance English Instructor for Berlitz, you will use the Berlitz Method of instruction to create an environment where our Japan-based clientele feel comfortable experimenting in the target language and achieving their goals. You will be provided with an online training course to learn how to deliver lessons using the Berlitz Method and access to our learning tools and materials. Your responsibilities include preparing for your lessons by going through the provided material, delivering customer-focused, online lessons on Zoom, creating a professional and supportive environment, documenting customers' attendance and progress after the lesson, and meeting minimum qualifications such as having a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, an expert level English ability, exceptional online communication skills with at least 4.5 hours of availability three days a week, and technical requirements like an internet connection with 3 Mbps upload and download speeds, a PC/laptop running the latest Windows or Mac OS, and a high-quality headset and camera. Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
